What’s a Hosted PBX?
A private branch exchange (PBX) is a phone system that automatically routes calls within an organization using multiple phone lines. Chances are your office or place of business already uses one. If you have multiple lines, an intercom, and extensions for various phones, then you have a PBX. You may have even seen the PBX; It’s usually a large gray box on a wall, tucked away somewhat out-of-sight, with cables running out of it.
A hosted PBX is a system that “lives” off-site. Rather than having your own PBX, with all the maintenance and cost challenges that go with it, a hosted solution takes PBX machine off-site and keeps it centralized with your provider. It functions just like any other PBX, but you never have to think about it. We take care of it for you.

- Have multiple receptionists in multiple locations? Do you find some of them (like at your main office) experience a higher amount of calls than the others? With our Hosted PBX, answering the phones can be a shared responsibility, regardless of where the receptionist is located or where the call is technically received.
- Need some face time with people at your other office locations? Our video conferencing phones are the solution for you.
- Need to make changes to your system? Rather then wait for an I.T. person to come to your location and update your system, with a Hosted PBX you simply need to give us a call and our team can make those changes for you.
